In July of 2008, our guests had a rare chance to meet the internationally collected master artist, Robert Lyn Nelson. Robert flew in from Maui for the event, bringing with him his own portfolio of original oil paintings, charcoal drawings and artist enhanced giclees.
On this special evening, our sister company Master Communication helped our oceans by purchasing and auctioning one of Robert's hand-enhanced limited-edition giclées live on eBay. Over $700 was raised for the Surfrider Foundation, a respected charity involved in water conservation and awareness.
Many thanks go to The Whale and Ale, who provided appetizers and wine for the event. Also contributing were The Henry Wine Group and Off the Vine, the home of fine wine tasting in San Pedro.
